Multiplication and division are the cornerstone of 3rd grade mathematics instruction. This 3rd Grade Multiplication & Division Unit starts the year with these important concepts and skills to emphasize their importance in the earning priorities for 3rd grade.
Unit 1 starts with very basic multiplication concepts and moves from concrete to more abstract concepts with plenty of practice and support over time. Organized into 7 comprehensive mini-units, students will have multiple opportunities to engage with the concepts, practice with hands-on materials, work independent, and demonstrate their understanding
